Review

On all of my long-distance hikes It’s important to have multi-purpose bits of kit which can do a multitude of things. So why the Camino Neck Buff?

Why the Camino Neck Buff?

I’ve used it on all my hikes from the Pacific Crest Trail to the Rota Vicentina. This little bit of stretchy, soft and comfy cloth will keep your skin protected from the midday sun, it’ll keep your brow sweat-free and it will also keep you warm in colder conditions. You can use it to mop up mess, clean equipment or just about anything. So versatile and lightweight is this little Buff, I consider it to be an essential part of any thru-hiker’s kit list.

How well does it work?

I always use it when conditions are anything but moderate. In the hot, dry weather it kept my skin clean, dry and out of the sun. In the winter, it helps keep your face out of the driving rain while keeping you warm. It’s brilliant.

What’s there not to like?

It’s quite delicate, so be sure to keep it away from anything pointy.

Value for money

Versatile, lightweight and useful, worth every penny.
