Review

I’ve lost so many cheap pares of sunglasses on my thru-hikes that something just had to be done about it. So why the Croakies glasses strap?

Why Croakies?

As I was shopping in REI in San Diego before hitting the Pacific Crest Trail I saw them on the shelf and had always been meaning to get a set. The silicone attachment loops will fit most sunglasses and they looked really stylish too.

How well does it work?

I’ve hiked over 200 miles using them and had my Sungod sunglasses around my neck the entire time, never lost them and still have them, so the Corakies certainly did their job! They do take some practice attaching them properly to your glasses without rolling the silicone attachments around themselves, but they worked really well.

Value for money

Yes, you could save yourself $10 just tie a piece of string around your glasses to keep them safe, but that wouldn’t be as comfortable and they might fall off.
