Review

The Multimat Kumfie sit pad is a warm and lightweight sit pad under £10. I used this over hundreds of miles on the Rota Vicentina and the Pacific Crest Trail and it’s worked really well, it’s really light and compact.

Why this one?

The price and weight were the main factors. It’s not an item I’d be using much of the time, but it’s one of those bits of kit that if I didn’t have it, I’d wish I had taken it with me.

How well does it work?

Really well, you can feel the heat being bounced back on yer tushie and it folds down quite thin and stows away neatly under the Y strap on my pack.

What’s there not to like?

It can wear a little more easily than more expensive models so try not to sit on really rough rocks or boulders too much.

Value for money

7 quid, 34g, warm butt. Boom.
