Review
Why Injini toe socks?
The most striking feature to Injinji toe socks apart from the fact they look like gloves for your feet is their ability to minimise blisters on-trail. While I’ve had a really good experience with my Altra Lone Peak 4.0 which have dramatically reduced the number of blisters I get, I thought I’d try them out.
How do they feel?
When I first tried on Injinjis, they felt completely alien to my feet. They still do if I haven’t worn them for a while, but after a few miles, you get used to the ends encroaching into the space between your toes.
How well do they work?
After hiking the Welsh 3,000s, Rota Vicentina and 200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail with the Injinjis in my kit list, my feet have benefited significantly, particularly in the space between and underneath the toes. They’ve reduced the amount of rubbing and chafing which could turn into hotspots and eventually blisters and if your feet get sweaty or wet, they dry out much faster than traditional socks which in turn will further reduce blisters.
