Review

Keeping your hiking gear dry shouldn’t be expensive. With so many dry bags, pack liners and pack covers on the market it’s difficult to choose which one to spend your heard-earned cash on. Look no further because Shedmade’s Heavy Duty Rubble sacks are a cheap solution.

Why Shedmade Rubble Sacks?

At 40L capacity they’ll hold a fair amount of gear such as your sleeping quilt, insulation and clothing and because they’re made of a super-strong, durable and 100% recycled plastic, all your gear will be kept safe and dry. While they come in a pack of 20, I’ve only replaced it once as a pack liner, but then I used the old one as a reusable trash bag.

How well does it work?

They work brilliantly and they last hundreds of miles. They do start to get scrunched a little after significant use, but it’s difficult to rip or teat them.

What’s there not to like?

The only downside to the rubble sacks is that they’re not fitted to your backpack. Many backpack manufacturers offer a solution specific to their pack design. Atom Packs have their own DCF pack liner which is cut and sewn specifically to the shape and size of your backpack and you can tell the difference.

Value for money

These are just a few quid for a pack of 20 and they last ages. Say no more. Get yer mits on some today.
