Review

The silnylon stuff sack that came with my Katabatic Gear Sawatch quilt is an excellently crafted one and I now use it on all of my overnight hikes. So, why these stuff sacks?

Why the Katabatic Gear silnylon stuff sacks?

Even though they came with the quilts even one came with my Palisade quilt, I never use them to store the quilts in while hiking. I always stuff the quilt in first in my Atom Packs DCF pack liner and then pack everything else around and on top, which leaves the included stuff sack free to put other things in like clothing or insulation layers. It also doubles up as quite a comfy pillow when filled with a down puffy and some (not too smelly) clothes which was very welcome on the Pacific Crest Trail this year.

Value for money

Excellent value for a quality stuff sack which comes free with the Katabatic Gear quilts.
